Focus on sustainability

With innovative technologies and a clear commitment to ecological responsibility, we at the Hotel Neuhintertux are making our contribution to a better future. An important step in this direction for us is the new photovoltaic system, which helps to reduce our ecological footprint. It is important to us to take targeted measures to protect the environment and to act as a role model for the use of green energy. Ultimately, we all benefit from an intact environment.

Our photovoltaic system: energy efficiency that speaks for itself.

The new photovoltaic system has been in operation since 3 July 2024, making a significant contribution to our hotel's power supply with an impressive capacity of up to 60 kW. In July 2024, we have already saved 3 tonnes of CO2 and produced 6 million watts of electricity.

These figures underline our determination to operate in an energy-efficient manner. But the photovoltaic system is just one part of our comprehensive sustainability concept.

Ecological responsibility

In addition to saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions with the new photovoltaic system, we have been implementing a wide range of measures for years to continuously improve our environmental footprint as a sustainable hotel:

• State-of-the-art heating and heating technologies to improve energy efficiency
• Feed-in of waste heat and water-saving measures through modern installations
• Sustainable cleaning and plastic avoidance through the use of ecologically certified products; reduction of plastic throughout the hotel
• Regional partnerships: Favouring regional products to support sustainable supply chains.

Outlook: A continuous path to more sustainability

At the Hotel Neuhintertux, we see environmental protection as an ongoing process that is constantly being developed. As a sustainable hotel in the Tux Alps region, we endeavour to continue implementing environmentally friendly solutions in the future. We look forward to continuing on this path together with our partners and to involving our guests a little more in the future in order to continue to have an intact and liveable environment.
